IDEAS:
Jedidiah USA is a world wide distributed, high fashion clothing company. Their clothing designs are driven by art, music, board sports and a passion for people. The idea was to create an environment that users could influence.
DESIGN:
The site was designed for youth as they are searching for their own roots in life.

Community:
A public image gallery was developed by hand with PHP/mySQL and ActionScript 2.0. Images are uploaded with a web interface and are resized with the GD bundle. After internal approval the art is automatically posted on the site.
A flash based blog was developed for the home page. Admin users can post daily stories with pop-up images.
Users are also invited to submit their own stories which after approval are posted on the home page.
Content Management System:
I developed a full admin site that manages databases and creates XML documents to be loaded into the site at run time. Semi savvy computer users can manage all content on their site including copy, images and music files.
E-Commerce:
The multi-level shopping cart was integrated with previous user databases and connected to Authorize.net using the Advanced Integration Method for secure online transactions.
E-mail Marketing:
HTML formatted e-mail blasting system allows jedidiah to reach over 3000 people with monthly
advertisements.
Traffic:
The sites traffic has quadrupled since the initial launch date to 400 hits per day.
